Hope you are handling our unusual situation as best you can, and that our music is helping that along.   Tim Thomas here, and I am still featuring solo artists on Deep Cuts this Saturday morning, and today I get to celebrate the solo work of one of my favorites.  The voice of Creedence Clearwater Revival, a rock and roll hall of famer and one of the greatest singer/songwriters of our time.  That man is John Fogerty!

I have seen John in concert a few times, and despite his age, he is still at the top of his game.  Sounds great, can still play a great guitar, and knows how to connect to his audience.  He is highly respected and his songs are still enjoyed today.

After he left CCR he went solo and has still had a lot of success.  So here are the 4 songs I have selected from John’s solo work that I hope you listen to and enjoy:

Almost Saturday Night- John Fogerty (1975)

Hot Rod Heart- Blue Moon Swamp (1997)

I Saw It On TV- Centerfield (1985)

Gunslinger- Revival (2007)

Do you like my choices? Have a few of your own? Share them on our Facebook page.  Thank you for listening!
