Time to Visit Kline Creek Farm!

Leslie Harris here, and when my kids were little, we would make the trek to Kline Creek farm in West Chicago. WE all had a great time visiting this 1890s working farm complete with a garden, beehives, a garden, fields, a blacksmith, a farmhouse, barns and farm animals such as sheep, cattle, chickens and cats. There’s also a gift shop where you can even buy honey that is produced there.

This is a good time to visit Kline Creek farm, because families can learn about spring planting on the farm, and how farm families worked together to get the spring planting done. Farmers might be working in the fields and gardens, planting crops.

The suggested donation at Kline Creek farm is $5 per person for ages 3 and up, and the tours are free. It’s also a beautiful area to walk through.

Kline Creek farm in West Chicago is open Thursday through Monday, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Find out more HERE
