Today, we celebrate our Independence and all the great songs that came alone with it!

The vote for independence was favored on July 2, 1776 and just two days later, on July 4, the delegates from 13 colonies adopted it.  Thomas Jefferson drafted the declaration, and today we continue celebrating this country’s independence.  It became a federal holiday back in 1941, so for 79 years we have been blowing off fireworks and listening to songs about America, grilling, chilling and of course, drinking!
