Trying To Kick The Fast Food Habit….And Maybe More?

Good Morning!

Chris Miles here and recently I’ve been challenging myself to get healthier. Let me tell you it has not been easy. I want to start out by saying thanks to my family and friends, they have been an amazing support system. Let me say nothing helps you kick a bad habit than a great support system.

I’ve started by giving up fast food. After my heart attack a few years ago, this was easy to to do since I was scared about my health. Then, one day I had a french fry and it was all over for me, back on the fast food wagon I went.

It’s been about two weeks since I gave up fast food. My definition of fast food is anything that has a drive through and serves fried food. I’ve lost about 7 pounds since then and I feel better overall. With my support team behind me I am determined to keep going. I invite you to hold me accountable and share your stories with me in the comments below.

Next up I’m going to shoot for giving up caffeine (YIKES!!!)…stay tuned for more progress on that soon.
