‘Unsolved Mysteries,’ the popular 80’s show that urged viewers to help investigators close some long-unsolved cases is coming back for a new generation.
The original series ran for 11 seasons with 260 episodes that covered 1,000 true crime stories. It received six Emmy nominations.
Netflix made the announcement saying the show will “haunt a new generation” on Friday.
The original creators teamed up with producers of the “Stranger Things” for the series reboot.
There is one episode that I watched as a kid that will haunt me for the rest of my life. There were two kids in their room at bed time. Their parents left the radio on for them (that old school brown radio that we all had). As they were laying there in their bunk bed, the radio dial started changing BY ITSELF. My sister and I had one of those radios in our bed that my mom turned on at night and that episode changed me. I still think about it whenever I see a radio like that!
Do you think it will be the same without Robert Stack? I feel like he was a bit part of the show’s creepiness with the way he delivered. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
