Up Close and Personal with Life-Sized Dinosaurs at the Fox Valley Mall
My son is a dinosaur freak. I’ve had no less than a baker’s dozen people send me this information because of my son’s affinity for the prehistoric, so I better pass it along to you as well!
Life-sized, animatronic dinosaurs will be scattered about the parking lot outside the Fox Valley Mall starting Friday, May 7th!
It will be a drive-thru experience allowing families to weave around 35 “full-scale, moving, scientifically accurate dinosaurs on a prehistoric globetrotting expedition.”
You’ll be able to tune your radio on to hear in-car audio guide and you’ll experience simulated earthquakes, be eye-witnesses to fierce dinosaur battles, and they may even need to save a baby dinosaur’s life!
According the FVM, each car will receive one “Survival Pack” that includes take-home activities related to the experience.
Tickets are sold on a per-vehicle basis and prices start at $49.95 (for a seven-passenger vehicle). Sellouts are expected and advance ticket purchases are highly recommended; tickets can be purchased at https://dinosafari.com/.
