Valentine’s Day Just Won’t Be The Same!

This is Leslie Harris and we got some awful news this week. Sweethearts brand of conversation hearts will not be available for Valentine’s Day this year.

The company that has been selling them since the mid-nineteenth century went out of business. The good news is that another company bought them. The bad news is that they won’t be able to produce them in time for Valentine’s Day.

Now I know there are other brands of conversation Hearts, but nothing beats that same company that produced Necco Wafers. One donut maker is even making conversation heart shaped donuts, but it just won’t be the same.

The new company promises to have sweethearts in time for next Valentine’s Day, but 2019 is a bust. I wonder if I can find any Necco Wafers to tide me over.
