Wanna Stay Healthy? You Can!

Hi this is Leslie Harris and a lot of people are getting concerned about the possibility of catching the coronavirus.

We all keep hearing over and over again wash your hands, use hand sanitizer, don’t shake people’s hands, and stay home if you’re feeling sick. But there’s a lot more you can do. You could strengthen your immune system!

I’m not sure why no one is talking about this, but there are plenty of things you can do. First and foremost, make sure you are getting enough rest so that you stay strong and healthy. Drink a lot of clear fluids, especially water. Staying away from sugar and other junk food is especially important, and if you can’t stay completely away from that stuff, at least cut back. Many studies show that sugar suppresses your immune system, and that bacteria feeds off of it. (that also goes for refined carbs like white bread, potatoes and pasta)

There are also many vitamins, herbs and other supplements that you can take such as vitamin C, zinc lozenges and colloidal silver. Go to any health food store and you will find a whole section of immune system boosters.

Your best defense against the coronavirus (or any illness) is a strong and healthy immune system. And of course, washing your hands!
