What could be better than a massive Elton John box set!

Hey, Rich Dale here.  Greatest Hits albums are one thing, but it’s finally time for Sir Elton to release a giant box set.  Later this year, he’s releasing a career-spanning box set.

And it will definitely not be “the hits”.  Instead, the eight-disc Elton: Jewel Box (yeah, I said eight) will focus on deep cuts, b-sides, early recordings, and 60 previously unreleased tracks!

Elton himself had a hand in curating the Jewel Box, and personally I wouldn’t have it any other way.  He said “having time during lockdown to take stock and pull these moments from my memory from each era has been a joy.”

I couldn’t find a track listing, but he’s had some great b-sides through the years.  I was always one to flip over my 45’s, and heard great songs like “Young Man’s Blues” and “Skyline Pigeon”.

The set is scheduled to be out Nov. 13th.
