There are certain movies that just tickle me more than others and sitting here in the studio right now thinking about them is making me look crazy because I have huge grin on my face while I’m typing … (Fortunately people around here already have figured out I amuse myself all the time and me laughing on my own is not that unusual!)  So here are some of my favorite scenes that always make me laugh … no matter how many times I see them.  (some are a little bit too sweary or in the case of Game Night and Shaun of the Dead, have too much blood for me to post … but you should YouTube them for sure!)

Game Night – the scene where Rachel McAdams is trying to remove the bullet from Jason Bateman and they both start gagging … I was in tears the first time I saw that and still laugh every time.

Moonstruck – I pretty much love everything about Moonstruck … one of my favorite films but I have to say the final scene has always been my favorite …

Dance scene in Napoleon Dynamite – no explanation needed

Newscaster brawl in Anchorman – Is there anything funnier than these scenes in the anchorman series.  So funny.  (I mean when PBS gets in a gang fight … you know it’s going to be good)

Shaun of the Dead –  I love this film, in fact I love the Cornetto Trilogy … they are all so funny.  However there are two scenes that are my fave’s in this film.  One is when the zombies first attack and the first thing they do is put the kettle on and have a cup of tea (which is something I would probably do) .  The other scene is probably one of my favorite uses of music in a film.  When they are in the pub and the juke box accidentally comes on playing Queen’s Don’t Stop Me Now.  There is this almost choreographed fight scene against the zombies.  So funny!

Spinal Tap – Stonehenge!   This is such a classic scene … no explanation needed ….

Nigel gave me a drawing that said 18 inches. I know… Whether he knows the difference between feet and inches is not my problem. But you’re not as confused as him. It’s not your job to be as confused as Nigel is. It’s my job to do what I’m asked to do by the creative element of this band.

So there you go … some of my fav’s … now tell me what films make you grin like crazy just thinking about them?
