When Can The Kids Go Back To School?

So my kids are all grown and school is not an issue for them, but I have 3 of my grandkids who are directly affected (high school, middle school, kindergarden) and my daughter Jennifer is a school councilor so she’s in the mix too!! I think everyone wants the kids to be able to return to the classrooms and have things start to look and feel normal again. Problem is things are not even close to being normal and if anything they seem to be going in the wrong direction. COVID-19 cases spiking all over the country!! These kids need to be safe if they’re returning to the classroom. The Governor of Missouri, Mike Parson seems to have it all figured out: “These kids have got to get back to school,” said Parson “They’re at the lowest risk possible. And if they do get Covid-19, which they will and they will when they go to school  they’re not going to the hospitals. They’re not going to have to sit in doctor’s offices. They’re going to go home and they’re going to get over it.” Aren’t you glad you don’t live in Missouri! So they get sick, bring it home and mom and dad, sister and brother, grandma and grandpa get it, right? Am I missing something here or is there a flaw in this logic! The childen’s safety becomes everyones safety.
