Who Knew It Could Be This Much fun?

Hi this is Leslie Harris, and last night I went to the most fun bingo game I’ve ever gone to. Let me explain.

First of all, this was a fundraiser for an organization that I volunteer for, St. Sophia’s Forgotten Felines. It was held at a restaurant in Oak Park called Hamburger Mary’s. The fun part was that the game was run by Whitney Houston, also known as the drag queen you see in the picture above.

Of course there were lots of jokes, some of them a bit naughty, and some of the patterns that we had to create on her Bingo cards were NSFW, but we all had a really good time.

Hamburger Mary’s has a very fun atmosphere, and is attached to Oak Park Brewing Company, so plenty of craft beer on hand. Plus the food at Hamburger Mary’s very good! I’m not sure how much my organization raised, but I am sure that everyone who was there had a good time.

St. Sophia’s Forgotten Felines placed over 1,200 Cat last year alone, and I’m quite proud of the work that we do.
