Why Do People Do This?

Hi, it’s Leslie and I was on my way into work today, on I-88. There are three lanes, and all three were moving. I was in the center lane, keeping my speed even with the vehicle in front of me, (which was about 10 mph above the speed limit) when a very large pickup truck zoomed up and started tailgating me. The driver even flashed their headlights at me.

As I said, the left lane was wide open. I was tempted to slow down, but I just kept my speed the same, which, again, was above the posted speed limit. The pickup truck continued to ride my tail for another mile or so, and then finally passed me on the left, and then zoomed in front of me.

I don’t get it. Why do people do this? What would you have done? Let me know in the comments.
