Would You Live With THE Mouse?

Hi it’s Leslie Harris and the Coachella valley in California is not just home to a cool music festival, but it is now home to THE mouse.

Disney just bought 618 acres for a mixed-use development. They’re calling it Storyliving by Disney.

It will be comprised of communities that Disney is saying will be,”Infused with the company’s special brand of magic” and “These master planned communities are intended to inspire residents to foster new friendships, pursue their interests and write the next exciting chapter in their lives, all while enjoying the attention to detail, unique amenities and special touches that are Disney hallmarks,” in a press release.

There’s going to be about 1700 homes, 400 hotel rooms, some commercial buildings and a 24 acres swimmable lagoon that will be open to the public. At least one section of homes will be expressly for people 55 and older, but there will be homes for people of all ages.
