Hi it’s Leslie Harris, and today, it just seems like so many things are not going my way.

First of all, a prescription that I ran out of two days ago was supposed to be ready today. It’s not, and the pharmacy didn’t even order it yet. Time for a new pharmacy, but of course the new pharmacy is busy. At least they have the medication in stock.

While I was out walking my dog, I stepped on some grass that was marshy, so my shield got wet. Dang it, I just realized my sock is still wet.

As I was walking out the door, my belt loop caught on the faucet of my gallon, glass water dispenser, and the whole thing crashed all over my hardwood kitchen floor. Come to think of it, that’s probably why my sock is wet.

My daughter’s license plates expired Sunday, so today I went to the currency exchange on my way to work to renew the sticker. The line was so long that I had to leave without the sticker, even though I had gone quite a bit out of my way to get to the currency exchange.

So I’m feeling A LITTLE FRUSTRATED, but… A lot of good things happened today as well.

I loved how bright and sunny it was, and my very good dog and I went for a nice long walk. I had a couple of good phone calls, got some laundry done, and made myself a lovely lunch.

I find it’s so easy to get caught up in the negative stuff, so I am purposely focusing on all of the wonderful aspects of my day, and of my life. And tomorrow is another day!

When I keep my attitude positive, these things are much easier to deal with, and in the long run, really don’t matter. What matters is that I have a warm and loving family, I have my health, wonderful friends and I have a great job here at 95.9 The River!
