Murder Hornets! Coming To Your Neighborhood, Maybe!

So now we got Isis K, more hurricanes, COVID surge, heat advisories, mask & vaccine mandates, rising gas prices, wild fires and smoke pollution (part of climate change). So what could come next? “Human sacrifice! Dogs and cats living together! Mass hysteria!” Or maybe just “Murder Hornets”. The Asian giant hornets are sometimes called murder hornets because they prey on other bees. It really IS getting weirder and weirder out there, but hey we gotta keep going right. So who ya gonna call? No not The Ghostbusters, but your state exterminator. While not particularly aggressive toward humans, their sting is extremely painful and repeated stings, though rare, can kill. I’m breathing a little easier even though the nest of these things was found out west in Washington state.
