Neighborhood Festivals: Who’s Got Them?
Hi, it’s Leslie, and have I mentioned how much I love summer? I love the beach, I love summer concerts, and I love summer festivals. There’s a lot of them happening this weekend in our area.
Mackay kicked off Swedish Days with a live broadcast on Wednesday morning. It continues through Sunday with great food, live music on three different stages, Geneva History Museum trolley tours, kids activities, a marketplace and so much more. Find out more about Geneva Swedish Days HERE
Yorkville has its Summer Solstice indie music festival tonight and tomorrow, with food trucks, the Solstice 4 Mile Road race, and of course, lots of great indie music. Nick will be broadcasting his show live from the festival from 3:00 to 7:00, and Mackay will be broadcasting live tomorrow from 4:00 to 6:00. Find out more about Yorkville’s Summer Solstice HERE
Downers Grove has its Rotary Grove fest with food and drinks, a car show, entertainment and a carnival. Find out more about it HERE
Pride in the Park takes place in Chicago’s Grant Park on Saturday and Sunday with more than a dozen performers, as well as artists and vendors. Find out more about it HERE
Miche Fest is Chicago’s Latino music festival, and it happens Saturday and Sunday in Harrison Park in the Pilsen neighborhood. Find out more about it HERE
