Road Trip To Cleveland?
Hi this is Leslie, and a few years ago, my family and I traveled to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Museum in Cleveland. It was our first time. I loved it, and could have spent many more hours. My family also enjoyed it, but they needed to take a break. It’s a lot!
One of the great things about the Rock Hall is that they always have special exhibits. Currently on display is an exhibit called The Beatles, Get Back to Let It Be. This exhibit looks at the January 1969 rehearsals, studio sessions, and their final performance, the rooftop concert. You can see original instruments, clothing and handwritten lyrics as well as high definition film clips, audio and more. This exhibit is only open through January of 2024.
The next exhibit is already underway. Left of center: Revolutionaries, will open in early 2024, which will include Women of Music. You can now view Annie Lennox’s hat that she wore during the All-Star Jam when Dolly Parton was inducted. You can also see Annie’s baton that she used in the Sweet Dreams video, as well as many other artifacts.
