We Need A Rock Band For The Super Bowl Halftime Show! Who’s With Me?

Well once again…the Super Bowl Halftime Show…will not have a true rock band performing.  In the past we have seen Springsteen, The Rolling Stones, The Who, Tom Petty, Aerosmith, U2, Paul McCartney!   But this upcoming February…in Miami…we will get Jennifer Lopez and Shakira.     YAWN!

Twisted Sister frontman Dee Snider recently mentioned how all these football stadiums play these rock anthems all the time but the performers never get the nod to do the Halftime show…and he is 100% correct.  Click HERE for his story.

Queen-We Will Rock You

AC/DC- Thunderstruck

Metallica- Enter Sandman

Guns N Roses- Welcome To The Jungle

Ozzy Osbourne- Crazy Train

I think with Queen being so popular now…they played the Oscars…and they are having a resurgence now because of the success of Bohemian Rhapsody…would be a perfect choice.  To say that the past few halftime shows have been underwhelming (Maroon 5, Coldplay) would be an understatement.  Give us a rock band…a good one.  I would take any of the 5 listed above.  Journey or Bon Jovi would also be good choices.  Thoughts?
