30 Day Music Challenge – Day 2

Day 2 – A song you like with a number in the title.

Ironically I could actually go with the song I chose last night tonight as well (99 luftballons) but I won’t.   We kind of have the same issue as last night though … there are so many great songs with numbers in them … I mean there are 50 Ways to Leave Your Lover, There are Seven Seas of Rhye and there’s  U2’s 40 (which was the song they always played at the end of every concert back in the day … so that does hold a special place for me.)  My runner up to my choice would be Bob Marley’s Three Little Birds which needs no explanation … such a classic.

Tonight though…. I went with the first song that came into my head.  Ironically the title of this song is never once sung in the lyrics.   It is by the British 90’s band Blur.  For those of you who are not familiar with Blur I still think you will be familiar with this song as it is played in many sports arenas around America to get the crowds going.  (But you may have not known what it was called.)   Ladies and Gents I give you ….
