Feed your head!

Hey, it’s Rich Dale.  Someday when we can go to concerts again, if you head for Ravinia to check out some classical music, it won’t necessarily be just the music that’s good for your brain.  Because you’ll of course sit on the lawn with some wine and cheese, and a new study from Iowa State University found wine and cheese could protect against cognitive decline!

Researchers found that cheese was most likely to thwart cognitive decline as participants got older.  The finding also showed that daily red wine consumption boosted brain function.  So I guess it’s not just good for your heart anymore, it’s good for your brain too!

I’ve got the cheese part covered.  Maybe I’ll need to get into wine before it’s too late.
