Jerry Springer Has Died

Reports say Jerry Springer, the former Cincinnati mayor and controversial talk show host has passed away at the age of 79.

The Jerry Springer Show stared in 1991, was based in Chicago and lasted 27 years, which is incredible, regardless of what you think of the content. He had a courtroom show called Judge Jerry which lasted a few yars, and even appeared on season eight of the Masked Singer as The Beetle.

According to reports from TMZ, Springer was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer a few months back. AP reports that he died at his home earlier today in suburban Chicago.
