Little Shop, Little Shop of Horrors!
Hi, it’s Leslie and Thursday night I got to see Little Shop of Horrors at the Paramount Theatre in Aurora. My 23-year-old and I both loved it!
If you’ve never seen it, it’s a dark comedy, and I would not bring young kids to see it. However, if you’re an adult with a sense of humor, you’re going to love it.
It’s the story of three people who are down on their luck, working at a failing floral shop on skid row, when Seymour comes across a mysterious plant, and love blooms.
The music and entire cast are fabulous, but Teressa LaGamba as Audrey and Je’Shaun Jackson as Audrey II really stood out for me. I was not at all surprised when the cast received a standing ovation.
Little Shop of Horrors has been nominated for seven Drama Desk Awards, including winner of Outstanding Musical. It is playing now through October 15, 2023, at the historic Paramount Theatre in downtown Aurora get more information and tickets HERE, and remember, Don’t feed the plants!
