Eddie Vedder Compares Swifties to the Punk Rock Community

Eddie Vedder took one of his daughters to a Taylor Swift concert and was reminded of the camaraderie of the punk rock community he grew up with, or as he says, quote, “being aligned with all of the misfits”.
I know you’re probably rolling your eyes at that comparison, but hear him out…
Eddie says, quote, “Making friendship bracelets with her and the generosity of these young girls and boys, trading these bracelets with different messages on them, lyrics, song titles, just acts of goodwill on these little bracelets. They had found their tribe, they were all agreeing on something…It was galvanizing and powerful.”
