There have been quite a few big name musical acts announced today for shows around the area. That includes Los Huracanes del Norte at Taste of Joliet. But it really doesn’t get bigger than the Beatles! Well, at least one Beatle!

Ringo Starr announced his Fall Tour. Among stops in New York City, Las Vegas, Mexico City, Austin, and Philly, is a stop in New Lenox on September 14th!

Ringo Starr and his All Starr Band will be headlining one of the nights of the New Lenox Summer Concert Series (formerly the New Lenox Triple Play).

Joining Ringo will be Steve Lukather, Edgar Winter, Colin Hay, Warren Ham, Hamish Stuart and Gregg Bissonette.

The show is slated for September 14th. According to New Lenox Mayor Tim Baldermann in an interview with Patch, tickets for Ringo are $90, unless you purchase a ticket for the Smokey Robinson show (below), in which case, they are $80.

This week will see Ringo release his 5th EP, Crooked Boy, as a special limited edition marble vinyl on Record Store Day, April 20. The single February Sky is out now (watch the video above)

Smokey Robinson has already been announced to play in New Lenox on June 1st! Tickets are $60.

Tickets for the Ringo Star and His All Starr Band performance at the Performing Arts Pavilion at the New Lenox Commons will be on sale May 11 (for New Lenox residents only) at 1 Veterans Parkway in New Lenox at 8:00 a.m. If any of the 5,000 tickets remain after May 13th, they will be opened to the public.
