Big Fish follows the story of enigmatic salesman Edward Bloom (played by senior Armani Smith) a man who has lived a truly fantastical life filled with giants, mermaids, and falling in love at first sight with his wife, Sandra (played by senior Kayla Manos). However, his son, Will (played by senior Matthew Garcia), who is about to become a father himself with his wife, Josephine (played by junior Melanie Popplewell), has become tired of his father’s stories and seeks to discover the truth of his father’s past. As Edward’s health declines, the clock ticks on as Edward and Will seek to reconcile their fractured relationship before it’s too late. All at once a tale of love, heroics, and real-life magic, Big Fish is sure to capture the hearts of the audience as it explores the importance of family, finding one’s identity, and discovering what truly matters.

Big Fish is based on the novel of the same name by Daniel Wallace and the Columbia motion picture written by John August. The book for the musical is also written by John August with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa. The show is presented with special arrangement through Theatrical Rights Worldwide.
