INTERVIEW: Joliet-Area Homeowner Talks About Going Face-to-Face With Intruder
If there is one interview you listen to today, make it this one. The last two minutes are truly inspiring and everyone can learn a thing or two. Trust me, you need to listen all the way to the end.
You may have heard the story earlier this week about a carjacking in Dolton. The suspects then led police on a high-speed chase that ended up in Wilmington, a few miles south of Joliet. One of the two suspects tried to hide in a home. He picked the wrong home. But, this story has a happy ending.
Listen to Jody, the homeowner who helped put an end to the manhunt.
It is a truly harrowing story, and at the end, very emotional. I teared up listening to Jody’s message of compassion. The last two minutes of this interview are truly inspiring.
This was recorded live today on the Slocum in the Morning Show on our sister station 1340 WJOL in Joliet.
