What’s In A Name? The Blackhawks Not Changing Their’s!

With all the controversy brewing up about racism with historic statutes of southern generals and founding fathers and even team names like the Redskins and the Indians, we find ourselves here in Chicago with a team name that many have questioned. The Chicago Blackhawks! The Blackhawks are named after Sac and Fox nation warrior Black Hawk. They have taken a stand on keeping the name and being committed to raising the bar even higher to raising awareness of Blackhawk and the important contributions of all Native American People.
