A most non-heinous three-quel! Hopefully.

From the first time I rented Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure on VHS, I was a fan.  It was silly in exactly the right way.  Bill and Ted’s Bogus Journey followed the same formula and was pretty good too.

And I’ve been hearing about a third movie for a number of years, but I wasn’t sure it was really happening.  But now it has an actual release date — Bill and Ted Face the Music is scheduled to come out August of 2020!

I must admit it’s a little weird to see Bill and Ted look so old!  But it has been close to 30 years since the last movie.  The script has them as middle-aged.

One person who’s probably been waiting for this even more than me is Alex Winter (Bill).  Keanu has had plenty of work since Bogus Journey.  In fact, John Wick 4 and The Matrix 4 are both slated to come out in May of 2021.  But Alex hasn’t been so busy.  I imagine that both he and I are really hoping for Face the Music to be a success!
