Biopics are all the range, and personally, I’m fine with that! Bohemian Rhapsody and Rocketman were both phenomenal movies! There’s no reason to think Stardust won’t also be very good.

The first photo from the upcoming David Bowie “biopic” Stardust has been released which features actor Johnny Flynn as Bowie.

Here’s the first look at Johnny Flynn as David Bowie in Stardust. Stardust, which the producers insist is “not a biopic” (…ok…) is an unauthorized look into transformation of Bowie into Ziggy Stardust.

The film also features comedian and writer Marc Maron (love that guy!) as Bowie’s manager and Hunger Games actress Jena Malone as Bowie’s first wife.

Do you think it’s too soon for a Bowie film?   Will you go see Stardust or will you wait until an “authorized” film gets made?
