Downtown Plainfield Businesses Pledge to Remain Open Through Lockport St. Construction

In this video, the business owners of downtown Plainfield are reminding you, in spite of the construction that will shut down Lockport Street (and all vehicular traffic to their brick and mortars), that they will be remaining open.

I put up some information regarding this the other day. You can read about the details of the planned improvements being made here. Regardless of what is being done, this will be just another road block for these businesses as they try to recover from the pandemic recession and lack of employees. Not something they need right now!

So, if you value our small local businesses, consider making the extra effort to patronize the ones located along Lockport Street. They need all the help they can get!
