DuPage Forest Preserve Wants Your Opinion! (Even if you don’t live there)
Leslie Harris here. One of the things I love about living in DuPage County is the Forest Preserve District. We are so fortunate that among our great shopping, restaurants, schools and transportation, we also have spectacular green spaces. Nothing soothes my soul like a walk in the woods, and I loved participating in the educational programs with my kids when they were little.
The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County has 26,000 acres, 166 miles of trails, 60 forest preserves, seven education centers and programs for young and old.
They’re asking the public to complete a survey, sometime between now and the end of the year, so that they can serve our community needs and preferences even more, and you don’t even have to live and DuPage County to fill out the survey.
This survey will ask you about users experience like conservation efforts and educational programming, as well as the business side of things like funding and acquiring more land.
The survey takes less than 15 minutes.
What’s your favorite feature of The Forest Preserve District of DuPage County, or your local forest preserve? Let me know in the comments.
