More good news on the state of the virus in the suburbs.
Region 8, which includes DuPage and Kane Counties have moved back into Phase 4 mitigations (removing any of the tiers). Region 8 joins seven other of the state’s Restore Illinois Plan regions in Phase 4, including Kendall, Will and Grundy Counties.
So…what does this mean?
Phase 4 Guidelines include the following:
IDPH will continue to closely monitor test positivity, ICU bed availability, and the number of people in the hospital with COVID-19. Should data show regions trending in the wrong direction, based on the established mitigation metrics, regions could once again find themselves in a higher tier with increased measures.
