Boating Safety class

Volunteers from the United States Coast Guard Auxiliary will be presenting “Boat America” on Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the Yorkville Public Library. This course is the most popular boating safety course in the country. State law in Illinois requires boaters under 18 years of age to complete this course before operating a power boat or a personal watercraft on their own.
This class is designed for new boaters and younger boaters. We will discuss the rules of the road (on the water), getting underway and how to deal with the unexpected. The course fee is $40.
