Illinois Hands & Voices SuperHEAR-o 5K Run/ Walk

Super Hear-o 5K is set to take place on Saturday, April, 20th, 2024 at Phillips Park in Aurora, Illinois. This vibrant event celebrates unity, advocates for children who are deaf/hard of hearing, and supports the mission of Illinois Hands and Voices. The “Super Hear-o 5K” is more than a race; it’s a spirited gathering aimed at promoting awareness for families impacted by hearing loss and fostering a community dedicated to their support. Participants from all walks of life are invited to join this inclusive event. The 5K route will offer participants a chance to run, jog, or walk through the striking atmosphere of Phillips Park and Mastodon Lake in Aurora, IL. Along the way, runners will be cheered on by enthusiastic volunteers and supporters, creating an unforgettable and motivational experience for everyone involved. There will be engaging activities, a kid’s dash, and an inclusive environment for all ages and abilities. This event aims not only to raise awareness but also to raise vital funds for Illinois Hands and Voices’ programs dedicated to supporting families with children who are deaf/hard of hearing.
