Experts Worry About A Tsunami Coming To East Coast.

Tsunami’s are a series of water waves caused by the displacement of a large volume of water, generally in an ocean or a lake. Earthquakes, volcanic eruptions and other underwater explosions have the potential to generate a tsunami. We have seen several recent examples of the power and devastation a tsunami can cause with the Indian Ocean tsunami in 2004 and the Fukushima Japan disaster in 2011. Now there are new tsunami concerns from experts about the volcanic eruptions in the Canary Islands and the amounts of molten lava being dumped into the ocean. This could trigger a massive tsunami on the east coast of the United States.
