Free LIVE Music That You Join In On (even if you’re not a musician)

Leslie Harris here, and one of the worst things about the pandemic has been the absence of live music. I’m so happy that live music is back!

I already have tickets to a few big concerts, but to me, the small shows are just as important.

Last weekend, my family and I went to a free drumming circle in a park in Chicago. The weather was hot, but we found some shade under a lovely tree, and had a nice picnic.

The musicians range from amateur to professional, but anybody can join in. Occasionally, there might even be a drum to borrow. I forgot to bring my own tambourine, but I enjoyed the music, and I even got up and danced for a while.
