Halloween Just Some Much Needed Fun.
Well October arrives on Thursday and that means Halloween is four weeks from Saturday. The decorations and the candy are all on display, but what to do about trick or treating? Tough call, but I will say many places are showing a willingness to keep the social distancing and watch out for the kids. We were at Sunny Acres in West Chicago today and there was no shortage of people with their kids enjoying the Halloween rides and animals and man all those pumpkins. It looks like a banner crop year for the orange globes that so dominate the month. I’ve always liked Halloween and being home to pass out candy to all the kids, but my hours don’t allow me to be there. Sorry kids!! There are pumpkin patches and corn mazes most of which are open, but don’t forget your mask. It’s fun time of year and we all need a little fun right about now, but let’s be careful out there and not let our guard down. No tricks just treats!
