The cancellation of sports is far from the most important thing to happen as this pandemic rages on. That doesn’t mean it’s insignificant, especially for high school and college athlete who had their seasons cut short, and in a lot of cases without much notice.

It’s heart-wrenching to see kids – especially seniors – who have busted their humps for much of their lives have their opportunities to shine dimmed too soon.
