How Will YOU Be Celebrating?

Leslie Harris here. Happy New Year’s Eve. How will you be celebrating?

New Year’s Eve has never been a huge deal for me. When I was younger and single, I was frequently working at a radio station on New Year’s Eve. One year I was dating a guy who had a lot of friends who liked to drink heavily. We had a huge New Year’s Eve party that year, but those days are long behind me.

The last several years my husband and I have gone out to an early dinner with friends, been home by 10 and watched Dick Clark’s Rockin’ New Year’s Eve. But it’s come full circle and here I am once again, working New Year’s Eve at a radio station, which isn’t a bad way to spend it, especially since I get to play all this great River Rock and Roll.
