If You Don’t Tap A Watermelon, Are You Even Summering?

I’ve been looking for a reason to do this, and I finally got it when my in-laws came over for a barbecue yesterday! I had seen it pop up online every so often, so I was excited to give it a try.

I can confirm that yes, it dispenses, and yes, it didn’t leak!

That doesn’t mean I didn’t make a huge GD mess as I was crafting this beauty. As I was blending up the watermelon flesh in my food processor, juice sprayed everywhere…all over the counter, the floor…everywhere! It appears that little plastic piece designed to stop things from spraying out isn’t great at it’s job.

After I cleaned up, strained the juice and dumped it back in the melon, it was game on!
