It's Scarecrow Weekend in St Charles!

Hi it’s Leslie Harris, and when my kids were little, we looked forward to Scarecrow Weekend every year. They always had so much fun. If you have young kids or grandkids, head to St Charles this weekend for the 38th annual Scarecrow Weekend. It starts today at noon.

You can see more than 110 handmade scarecrows all around town. It’ll be like a treasure hunt. There’s also a family zone in Lincoln Park, an activity zone on Riverside Ave. between Main St. and Illinois Ave. with fun photo ops, live entertainment, scarecrows to go and more fun for families.

You’ll also find many specials sales and events happening throughout downtown St Charles, including the Autumn on the Fox craft show in Potawatomi Park.

The St. Charles Scarecrow Festival runs today from noon to 6:00, Saturday from 10:00 to 6:00 and Sunday from 10:00 to 5:00. You can check out the brochure HERE
