Maple Fest this Weekend

Hi this is Leslie Harris. When my kids were little, I loved taking them to Maple Fest, and it’s happening this weekend at The Red Oak Nature Center in Batavia. It’s a fun day where kids (and adults) can learn about the history of maple syrup, as well as how the trees are tapped, and why springtime is the best time to get the sap.
You’ll also get to see how the sap is boiled down to make the delicious syrup we know and love.
