Name a song that describes your summer so far.

I don’t know about you but I have been crazy busy this summer.   Don’t get me wrong … I am not complaining.  I have had some fantastic trips and so many lovely moments with friends and family that I feel truly lucky… BUT … I’m exhausted!!   I really have been burning the candle at both ends and it is very obvious.  When I’m run down my skin, my back, my neck  … pretty much most of my body lets me know.

So although if you had asked me earlier on in the summer to come up with a song to describe my summer … I may have gone with Cyndie Lauper’s Girls Just Wanna Have Fun … or Vacation by the Go Go’s  but as we are approaching the end of the summer … I can honestly say the song below sums me up right now… As we say in England … I’m knackered!!   So enjoy the soothing voice of Jackson Browne while I go and take a nap!
