New Year’s Resolutions: Yay or Nay?

Hi this is Leslie Harris. Happy New Year!

Much is said about New Year’s resolutions. Some people feel like it’s the opportunity to make a commitment with a fresh slate. But many of us have made those commitments, and if we have failed to achieve them, well, New Year’s resolutions can feel like another opportunity for failure.

But so what?

What if you really go for it, and you fail?

Well, you might learn something about yourself. You might grow in unexpected ways. You might reach 75% (or 50%. or even 25%of your goal, which would MORE than where you are now!

I once heard an expression, shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you will land among the stars.

AND…what if you succeed?

So what’s it going to be? Are you going to make some big resolutions this year? Let me know in the comments.

By the way, experts agree that the best way to keep those resolutions is to get an accountability partner. You know, someone who you can check in with. (and they can check in with you)
