One of the Best Bowlers In the Country is from Plainfield, And He Just Won His First PBA Major Title!
Plainfield native Kris Prather just won another $100,000 prize by striking his way to a title in the PBA’s Tournament of Champions! If you aren’t a bowling fan, you may have surfed passed it as it was being broadcast live on FOX yesterday.

He was the fourth seed going into the stepladder finals, and he won all four matches to earn the six-figure paycheck!
This is the third PBA event title for Prather and his first major, who also won last year’s inaugural PBA Playoffs. He’s been bowling at the highest level since 2015 after attending Wichita State and Plainfield Central HS.
On his way to the title, Prather defeated Sean Rath, who’s from Montgomery! Nice to see the area so well represented!
