Painting Can Be A Pain

Hi, it’s John Calhoun on this first Saturday of 2020. We’re starting the new year with some major projects in our home. The first was a fresh new paint job for the family room, den/office and hallway. In the past, my wife and I have done the painting ourselves. This time, we hired a professional painter.
It didn’t take long to realize that painting is the easy part! Getting the rooms ready for the painter is another story. We spent two full days moving furniture, taking pictures off the wall, disconnecting the computer, TV, stereo, etc.
Now that the painting is done, we’ll have to move everything back in place. But we can’t do that until next weekend, after our new carpeting is installed.
