Relive Great Memories with a Celebration of this Iconic Chicagoland Movie

Hi this is Leslie Harris, and The Blues Brothers is probably the best movie about the Chicago area, and one of the greatest movies ever made. And if you don’t agree with me, you’re wrong!

Can you believe that this year marks the 40th anniversary of this iconic movie? As I’m sure you know, the movie starts it’s journey at the old Joliet State Prison, and there’s going to be a huge celebration coming to the grounds this summer.

They’re going to have Blues Brothers tribute bands, of course the showing of the movie, and even a replica of that country music stage where they were behind the chicken wire, singing both country and western!

It looks like the celebration is probably going to be  the 21st and 22nd, and it’ll also be a fundraiser for Joliet Prison restoration. How cool would it be if Dan Aykroyd actually showed up for this? Supposedly, they’re working on it!

I can’t wait!
