River Rock and Roll Coming to Brookfield Zoo Chicago
The line-up for Brookfield Zoo Chicago’s yearly summer concert series was announced recently, and it includes a whole bunch of 90s River Rock and Roll!
It’s called Roaring Nights, and features the Barenaked Ladies, Gin Blossoms and the Fray! Take a look!
Tickets will go on sale online on Monday, April 15 at 10 a.m. Ticket queue will open at 9 a.m. Tickets purchased individually range from $45-$55, and with each purchased ticket, a child 12 and under is free. You can also save some money by going for the 90th anniversary bundle, which includes tickets to all three shows for $90.
On concert nights, several of the Zoo’s animal habitats will be open until 7 p.m., including the newly renovated Seven Seas Underwater Viewing Gallery, Sea Lion Cove, Big Cats, Hamill Family Wild Encounters, Desert’s Edge, and Clouded Leopard Rainforest. And, you can meet some of the animal ambassadors on the East Mall between 6:30 and 7:30 p.m. each evening.
Additionally, you can take a spin on The Carousel until 7 p.m., or view the Chicago skyline in the distance and the onstage entertainment from a whole different vantage point—110 feet up in the Zoo’s Anniversary Ferris Wheel—until 9 p.m. (extra fees apply).
A wide selection of delicious food and beverage items will be also available for purchase at the Tacos Caja and The Coop food trucks, Nectar and Graze, and the Beer Garden!
