A man from Alabama is forever banned from Disney World.

42-year-old Richard McGuire was arrested on trespassing charges after he was caught camping on Discovery Island when the theme park was closed during lockdown in May. Discovery Island is an actual island off the coast of Florida that used to house a Disney attraction, but it has been abandoned for the last 20 years.

He told police he thought it was no problem to hang out there despite numerous “no trespassing” signs posted all around.

Officials were tipped off when Richard was seen on wild game cameras posted around the island. Sheriff’s deputies took two days of searching with helicopters and armed officers on foot before he was found.

Why was he there? To make YouTube videos.

Disney World now says he’s banned from its properties for life. He was also fined $100.
